Huanan Ying: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

Tianxu Design's Award-Winning Sales Center Reflects Danyang's Unique Heritage

At the heart of the Huanan Ying sales center is a negotiation area adorned with light strips in the form of ribbons, a nod to Danyang's flourishing silk industry. The floral art in glass vases forms an echo with the ribbons, creating a harmonious balance. Glass, a material synonymous with Danyang's spectacle manufacturing industry, is prominently featured throughout the center, further rooting the design in the city's identity.

What sets the Huanan Ying sales center apart is its seamless integration of the city's unique lake scenery into the interior space. Decorative paintings depict rippling water landscapes, and a glass sculpture shaped like water underscores the city's waterside charm. The use of silk and glass as primary materials in the interior decoration symbolizes Danyang's core industries, while the lighting, reminiscent of silk ribbons, adds a touch of mystery to the space.

Spanning a total area of 479 square meters, the sales center is a masterful blend of seemingly independent yet interconnected functional areas. The design starts from nature, reinterpreting the relationship between humans and the future through design innovation. It adds a philosophical sense to the space, reflecting on the evolving definition of residence as a place for self-enrichment, value creation, and spiritual development.

The design team, led by Chief Designer Jing Leng, faced the challenge of materializing the ethereal aesthetic sense. They achieved this through the combination of artistic conception and methods, using sculpture and decorative paintings to embody the quality construction's connotation. The design respects the resident's inner sense of belonging, freedom, identity, and personal value.

The project, which started on 15 April 2020 and finished on 28 May 2020 in Danyang, China, is a shining example of Tianxu Design's commitment to integrating traditional Chinese residence concepts with modern design elements. The sales center not only meets daily demands but also creates a blended space that broadens life's dimensions and explores self-growth.
